GREEN COFFEE BEANS

En Montañés ofrecemos granos de café verde seleccionados, en la taza logra un muy buen equilibrio entre su acidez y cuerpo, lo que brinda un perfil general suave y agradable al ser degustado. ​

THE PROCESS

Arabica coffee beans require very special conditions to grow. For the plants to grow properly, they need to be grown at an elevation of at least 1,200 meters and an average temperature of 20°C (70°F). In the few places in the world that offer these conditions, Arabica coffee beans germinate and vary due to other environmental factors such as climate, latitude, and soil type.  

 

Each of these factors affects the aroma, body, flavor, and acidity of the final cup of coffee. Our Arabica coffee is grown in the Province of Loja, because it meets all the aforementioned conditions.

Atributos del Grano de Café

Once the coffee is grown under ideal conditions, it must be properly processed to result in excellent quality cup coffee. Manual selection is essential to ensure that only the reddest, ripest coffee beans are harvested and used in the process. After harvest, the coffee beans must be dried before being expertly roasted.

We offer selected green coffee beans, in the cup it achieves a very good balance between its acidity and body, which provides a smooth and pleasant general profile when tasted.
